Scutellarein treats neuroblastoma by regulating the expression of multiple targets

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect scutellarein on proliferation neuroblastoma cells and underlying mechanism. Six cell lines were used with drug intervention. Cell Counting Kit-8 was select best, namely, SH-SY5Y, then its IC50 value determined. To further mechanism scutellarin affecting SH-SY5Y proliferation, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) detect expression levels 11 factors. Scutellarin administration 300 μM significantly reduced number especially 3rd day exposure scutellarin. in determined be 117.8 μM. But practical results showed that optimal concentration qRT-PCR detected upregulated maternally expressed gene 3 (MEG3), oncogene c-Fos (c-FOS), c-jun downregulated M2 isoform pyruvate kinase (PKM2), non-SMC Condensin I Complex Subunit H (NCAPH), epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), transforming (TGF)-β1, TGF-α, suggesting volume inhibited survival by regulating these 8 could a novel for treatment neuroblastoma, may related MEG3, c-FOS, PKM2, NCAPH, EGFR, TGF-β1, TGF-α.
